John DiPaola is a business leader and brand builder with a track record of transforming ideas into enduring, value-driven ventures. As a co-creator of Felisa Limoncello, John has been deeply involved in shaping the brand’s foundation, from positioning and storytelling to go-to-market strategy and long-term growth vision.
John earned degrees in Psychology and Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University, building on an educational foundation that began at Benedictine High School, where enduring friendships were formed and values were shaped. During his time there, John was influenced by the shining example of his coach, Augie Bossu, whose philosophy, “Humble in victory and gracious in defeat” left a lasting imprint on how John approaches leadership, competition, and collaboration.
At home, John was shaped by his parents, Felice and Isabella, whose values of hard work, humility, and pride in craft left an indelible mark on his life. His father, Felice, a stone mason, taught him that nothing lasting can be built without a strong and level foundation, a principle that continues to guide how John builds teams, brands, and business strategies. In their honor, Felisa Limoncello was named as a tribute to both Felice and Isabella, reflecting the family roots, care, and authenticity at the heart of the brand.
That foundation has been further strengthened by the unwavering support of John’s family, his wife Laura, his partner for more than 40 years, and their children, Joseph and Leann, whose encouragement, perspective, and belief have been central to every chapter of his journey.
Throughout his career, John has led high-performing teams, launched new ventures, and helped evolve legacy businesses into modern, multi-channel brands. In the spirits space, that experience translates into a disciplined yet creative approach, balancing craftsmanship, authenticity, and commercial viability.
